This is really quite interesting and visually powerful not only in the relationship between the subject matter (music) and the medium (old newspapers) but in the style of the piece. Using a throwaway and once read discarded medium used to signify throwaway art (pop/rock) that wanes in its significance very quickly over time to signify a throwaway and disposal life. The position of the Cobain in the center is quite clever, maybe completely unintentional, but it is almost as if he is a puppet and he was used and maybe is still being used by others for ends he did not know at the time.
The Artist thought this was FAIR
